- Deberá preparar adecuadamente su casa para el posoperatorio.

Cuando el médico y el fisioterapeuta consideren oportuno, dará comienzo la rehabilitación en un centro de rehabilitación donde el paciente irá recuperando la fuerza y movilidad en la articulación.
La recuperación completa suele ser inferior a seis meses, pero en algunos casos puede alargarse hasta 12 meses.
